It Is Coming . . . and There Is No Stopping It!!!

It is coming . . . and there is no stopping it!!!
YES! . . . In just few days the whole realm of the Monster; Gould and Spirit World will be unleashed on us! As “grownups” we can shudder or laugh upon seeing the seriousness of the little figures dancing in our streets!
Some people do not see the “magical” effect on this ritual called Halloween! They only see the fact that most of the disguises follow themes that are much less than “religious” and therefore must be “pagan” in nature and insult to our Christian or other venerable faith principles.
How much I would give to ONLY have A (one) Flaw! . . . Our creator in His immense wisdom created very few members of our species without (or very limited) flaws and those had a hard life being accepted into our ranks!!!
So, we celebrate by pretending that we are flawless and disguise ourselves with all kinds of make believe flawed characters and make a marry occasion of it. We can see this sentiment and roots of these feelings though the writings of our classical authors though the ages. The celebrations are depicted in The hunch back of Notre Dame and in Goethe’s Faust, describing his climb of the mountain the company of Mephistopheles(The devil) during theWalpurgis night when the ignorant; evil witches; warlocks and spirits set the place a fire while dancing in glee.
We all recognize (or should) that we are indeed flawed, but at the same time, that is exactly what make us “human” and allows us to care for each other with the sentiment that if we all were perfect could not exist.
Once a year, however, we can pretend that we are not flawed and amuse ourselves with the idea of the possibility that we may be flawed. We either dress as monsters or pick a “Hollywood Star” that we may consider “perfect” and all in the name of “Fun”!!!
This festivity does not exist in my old country and as a kid I was delighted to find out that people would give you CANDY for free!!! And as adults we enjoy the special decorations calling the attention of all ghosts and ghouls around enhancing the look of our neighborhoods.

Yes, for our youth is a magical time which makes you love life and your fellow man as GOD would indeed approve while keeping HIM above all!
