Civilizations have been born, grown to incredible heights and also died through the passage of time and man, unlike any other creature in our mysterious planet, has evolved as the master (or at least he thinks so) of his destiny. As such and using his God given creative gift he has conquered the land, air and sea!
With the advancement of communication technologies he has expanded the reach of his ideas to a global circle in the span of mere seconds.
Good ideas can never be bad . . . Or can they? And bad ideas . . . Can they ever be good?
Oxymoron you may say, just like bitter sweet usually denotes pain and pleasure combined and are expressions commonly used.
But, good ideas can become extremely deadly!!! Let me explain . . .
No one would question the use of 911 in a conversation and further if mentioned anyone would yield the use of the phone. Wouldn’t you? . . . It’s use for an emergency and it is therefore safe to use as a code.
A great idea incubation center is located in Hollywood, California and you may have guessed right if you thought about the movies. In their quest to not only entertain but also thrill you, some of the most ingenious writers come up with ideas of plots to place in the big screen and now also through television.
Out of these geniuses I remember watching two movies in particular, which depicted warring groups using “air weapons” to kill their enemies. Yes, they were “Gangster type” movies, one was called fittingly so, “Airplane” (I think) and the other I believe was one of the “Godfather” sagas.
On both of these movies an airplane was use to kill or try to kill the adversary and although the airplanes depicted in these movies were not “manned” but rather remote control toys, the idea was placed in the minds of the global viewers.
This has often made me wonder and think that the most vicious attack to the American people from foreigner enemies was actually germinated in the minds of our own Hollywood Industry leaders.
No! . . . Don’t get me wrong!!! . . . I am not blaming them at all. God knows that whoever wrote the plot of the movie didn’t have the remote idea that insane persons would have such hatred for our country and so little regard for God, their own religion and life that they would volunteer to commit such an atrocity.
I guess my shock was so intensse that I can not really remember where I was when I watched the first plane hit the tower, with grief I thought about the poor people in the airpane . . . and then the other one apeared and hit the other building! It WAS NOT an accident!!
Our lives have drastically changed. We do not travel as often anymore and time at the airports have become such an agrevation. Being a diabetic I must carry emergency food and injections (which ar liquid) and sugar free drinks. This causes more time for me and my wife to make it through the line.
I shudder every time I hear the news media mention all kinds of what “they” could use to commit another genocidal attack of this sort.
It reminds me of all the advertisement about “The gas lines are our life lines” that the gas companies ran a year or two before the oil rich countries attacked us with the “embargo” that caused gasoline to double in price and the long gas lines just to get a partial fill-up.
President Reagan said: “It’s about time we stop telling them what we are not going to do, and start telling them what we will do!”. That changed the minds and ideas of some world leaders.
While I do not consider myself a hawck, I believe that the news media should stop telling "them" how they can harm us and start telling them what the consequences of their attacks will be, so their own people may stop their radical members from bringing terror to their own land! . . . GOD BLESS AMERICA!
